Plagiarism Checking Services for Thesis and Research Papers

Pen2Print offers Plagiarism Checking Service using a ‘Turnitin’ tool to authors and scholars. Turnitin is leading originality checking and plagiarism prevention web tool which allows researchers to compare their contents against the massive databases to ensure the work is original before submission. Library has a paid license to this tool. To get the plagiarism checking done and have the similarity report generated, please write to us at editor@pen2print.org along a soft copy of the document ( ie. thesis, dissertation, manuscript of article, assignment etc.) to be checked in PDF, DOCX file format.

Lack of time and difficulty with the English language could result in manuscripts that have unintended instances of plagiarism. Such instances are viewed by journals as a violation of ethical publication standards and often lead to rejection. They also damage an author’s reputation and credibility as a researcher.
Note: This service is not available as part of any of our Publication Support Packs and must be purchased separately.
Our Plagiarism Check service helps you identify passages in your manuscript that might be flagged by the journal for accidental plagiarism. Under the service, we thoroughly check your manuscript for accidental plagiarism by using Turnitin, a software that is widely used in the academic community to check the originality of a document. We provide a report that highlights the problematic sections of your document, along with a publication expert’s comment on how these sections may affect the journal’s evaluation.

Plagiarism Check is ideal for you if

  • You have used expressions from previously published papers and are not sure whether the text can be considered to have been plagiarized. In particular, review papers can be prone to instances of plagiarism.
  • You are a lab head or research supervisor and would like to check whether the manuscripts authored by your students have been plagiarized accidentally.
  • You would like to screen the research output of your university department, lab, or research group. (We offer special quotations for large groups.)

How does the Plagiarism Check service work?

We do not stop at identifying instances of plagiarism. We go one step further by providing specific suggestions for dealing with the issue.
STEP 1 You send us your manuscript.
STEP 2 We scan it for plagiarism, using iThenticate or Turnitin.
We use a plagiarism detection software (iThenticate or Turnitin) to compare the contents of your manuscript with over 38 million scholarly articles, books, and conference proceedings.*
STEP 3 You receive a report with recommendations for revision.
After the scan is complete, our publication experts provide you with a report that recommends the relevant corrective action, depending on the seriousness of the issue.
*Pen2Print does not guarantee the detection of instances in addition to those highlighted by iThenticate or Turnitin. Additionally, please note that this service does not involve correcting the instances of accidental plagiarism through editing or re-writing.
