The Meaninglessness

Piyush Jain

I just want to write,
Just the act of writing,
Leading to no meaning
And gaining no symbols
The Meaninglessness

I just wish to write,
For my pen is new.
Its has a bright tip,
And a clear smooth grip.

I have no meaning
and I make no sense.
Its still fine, for
not everything is completed in meaning and sense

It has been two hours,
I have been writing,
Copying down books after books,
Like a real writer being credited for Ghost Writing.

The tip of my pen,
Its bright and steel,
It stops at nothing,
But nothing it feels.

It is a zombie, a bright white one.
It gives no meaning and has no sense.
And yet it keeps going,
it never stays still.

  1. Great work by the poet, expressing his heart felt feelings for his love of writing... As u need a pen to write, in the same way a pen needs someone... U call it a zombie, but I feel it has a world of its own... No matter who hold it, it gives his best performance unlike us the hypocrite humans... It doesn't discriminate, it is not racial but purest of its kind..
