This is a matter of great rejoice for the eastern states of India that in the current budget proposals there is a significant increase in the outlays for the initiation of the Second Green Revolution. The states like Bihar and West Bengal has initiated Green Revolution in their ouwn capacity which is evident from the significant increase in the agricultural produice in these states.
During the First Green Revolution states like Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh got a boost and the economy of Punjab and Haryana improved significantly and we hope that the new initiate of the UPA-2 will bear fruit in long run.
