ISBN numbers (International Standard Book number) are given to separate books (monographs) and to independent parts of a monograph series, having their own titles. ISBN numbers are needed for doctoral and licentiate theses, as well as to some series and reports published at SLU. For publications with both a printed and an electronic format a unique ISBN is provided for each version.
