For persons interested in starting their own small business, a special “Going into Business” seminar will be offered by Bob Bernhard of SCORE on Wednesday, December 2, 2 to 5 PM at the new Greater Independence Business Incubator, 414 South Main Street in Independence.  The presentation and discussion will include an overview of how to start a business, and will include consideration of your qualifications to own and operate a business, the feasibility of having your own business, an analysis of the competition you may face and who your potential customers are, how to communicate with potential customers, how to finance a new business, elements of a business plan, how to legally start a business in Oregon, and much more!
