Quality of life is a highly subjective measure of happiness that is an important component of many financial decision . Factors that play a role in the quality of life vary according to personal preferences, but they often include financial security, job satisfaction, family life, health, and safety.  standard indicators of quality of life include wealth , employment , the environment , physical and mental health , education , recreation , leisure time , social belonging , religious beliefs , safety , security , freedom.

WHO defines Quality of Life as an individual's perception of their position in life in the context of the culture and value systems in which they live and in relation to their goals, expectations, standards and concerns.
