What is Depression?

This is a very common aspect in everyone's life which is "the fear of failure", whether you are a student or a business professional or a common man doing your job under any organization. So, what is the reason behind this?

 In our day-to-day life we come across several such situation where we feel that we are going to fail in this work or why I took this decision, which is going to make me a failure person, all these thoughts come in our mind. Right? It happens because of many reasons like if you choose a field of no interest or you are doing your work forcefully.

 According to World Health Organization as of 2017, 300 million people around the world have depression, which is a huge number. And the number is increasing day by day with a rapid rate. And fear of failure and other such things are the reasons behind this.

Reasons behind this-

-The is caused by chemical imbalance of brain.

-Due to excessive stress.

-Various thinking styles also cause depression.

-Various adverse thoughts and experiences.

-Perfectionism can also lead to depression.

Harmful effects of Depression-

- Suicidal thoughts frequently.

- feeling of sadness and loneliness.

- too much or too little sleep on most of days.

- drastic change in weight either too much gain or loss.

- generally, trouble in making decisions.

- feeling of low energy or fatigue.

- feeling of worthlessness.

Ways to overcome depression-

- Regular meditation.

- Physical workout.

- Therapy from experts.

- Consulting a psychologist or counselor.
